Omega DEAR — Children’s Story Hour
May 16 9:00 am – 10:00 am
Join us the third Saturday of each month from -9am-10am for this children’s story hour featuring local BIPOC authors. In collaboration with Omega Psi Phi and Read with Me Minnesota.
- 9-9:10 families come in and grab a coffee, snack, and get settled
- *Free croissant and book for first five families!*
- 9:10-~9:30 Quinesha reads and we have Q&A
- 9:30-9:50 Omega Psi Phi reads
- 9:50-10:00 mix and mingle, share about what we’re doing, etc.
Quinesha Adams, is our featured author for May’s Omega D.E.A.R.! We will feature Quinesha’s book, Super Oh and Kho! Save a Baby Bird, on May 16th. This book is about two children helping a baby bird return to its nest with the guidance of their guardian angel, showcasing the power of being good Samaritans and caring for the environment and community.
